The February 2019 Progress Pickleball Monthly Newsletter is now available.

Hi everyone,

Happy Chinese New Year! Best wishes to you all during the Year of the Pig.

This month's newsletter is a little shorter than usual. I guess that ties in nicely with February being a shorter month than usual.

Here's your Monthly Newsletter for February 2019.

Our Club Email Addresses

I wanted to take this opportunity to clarify our Progress Pickleball email addresses. There are 3 of them:

  1. mike@progresspickleball.com
  2. rahemin@progresspickleball.com
  3. communications@progresspickleball.com

Emails sent to mike@progresspickleball.com go exclusively to Mike Livie.

Emails sent to rahemin@progresspickleball.com go exclusively to myself, Rahemin (Ray) Nanji.

Emails sent to communications@progresspickleball.com go to both Mike and myself. So for example, if you were to reply to this email newsletter (which has been sent from communications@progresspickleball.com), both Mike and myself would receive your email.

Please check out the Contact Us page on our website for more info on when you might want to send an email to Mike versus sending one to me.

Upcoming Tournaments

In case you were not aware, the mini-calendar on our website shows most of the past and upcoming pickleball tournaments in Ontario.

I've attempted to aggregate all of the Ontario tournaments found on pickleballtournaments.com, the PAO website, the GTPC, the OSGA, Markham Pan Am, and others. I'm doing my best to post them all on our calendar so that we have a single location where we can find tournament listings.

If you're a tournament player, check out the mini-calendar periodically as it will be updated regularly with new listings.

The Road from 3.5 to 4.0

In case you missed it, Petio Zahariev has written another excellent article on how to progress from 3.5 to 4.0. If you haven't already read it, you can find the article here.

Our Website

As always, we encourage you to visit the Progress Pickleball website regularly as it will be the first place where we will post club news or announcements.
