Our tournament is scheduled for Monday September 24 from 9:00 to 2:00.

As with any event like this we have had a couple of unforeseen cancellations. We need two more competitors and I would like about 4 alternatives. Thank you for your help with this.

There will be no drop in play on this day as all courts are booked.

Update as of Wed-Aug-22

We now have filled our 32 person tournament. It would be nice if we could get 4 to 6 people who would go on standby. A group of this size at our average age will definitely have some withdrawals. If you would like to apply please do so.

The tournament date is Monday, September 24 from 9 am to 2 pm.

A round robin will be played by 4 groups of 4 on the hour. A second round robin group of 4 teams of 4 will play on the half hours.

This should finish the round robins by 12:00 when a Pizza Lunch will be provided.

This will be followed by the semi finals for one half hour and the final.

With presentations, I expect to be finished close to 2:00 pm.

Additional Tournament Details

There will be no drop-in pickleball on Mon-Sep-24 as we will be having our Annual Club Tournament.

We are looking for a total of 32 players. We are over 20 already.

Each person guaranteed 3 games. Maximum 5 games.

Scheduled fairly tightly. Starting at 9:00 am. Prizes should be finished being awarded by 2:00 pm.

Cold water and sports drinks provided. Pizza at noon.

Tournament T-Shirts

Only $30.

First 3 games round robin with partners provided by Seeding Committee.

Tournament Format and Seedings

Each box would play with each of the other 3 in their box in a round robin. Person with highest point differential wins.

In Group A, top two scorers from Team 1 play top two scorers from Team 4 to 11 points. Top two from Team 2 play top two from Team 3. Winners of each play each other for division championship. Same format for group B.

There are two distinct groups. Tournament over when each side has champion.

Playoff games are to 11.

• This tournament is open to all members.
• We will start at 9:00 am with an approximate finish time of 2:00 pm.
• We will have pizza for lunch and tournament t-shirts for all.
• There is a large supply of prizes to be won including:
  • pickleball backpacks

  • paddle covers
  • safety glasses
  • and more
• Cost per entry is $30. Please be sure to indicate your shirt size.
• Registration deadline is Labour Day (Mon-Sep-03).
