Profile
I started playing pickleball in late 2016. My background in tennis helped me to quickly learn pickleball and compete successfully in tournaments.
Notable Accomplishments
Post COVID-pandemic, I've focused on my passion for coaching pickleball.
I enjoy sharing my skills, knowledge, and expertise with new, intermediate, and advanced players alike.
I greatly enjoy seeing players improve and seeing them gain confidence in their playing ability.
Pickleball Coaching Methodology
I first provide you with the theory or the "why". This includes strategies, tactics, and explanations for why I recommend doing certain shots or movements.
I then reinforce the "how". We work together on the mechanics of pickleball shots or movements through repetitive drills.
I use this approach regardless of whether pickleball is your first sport or whether you're an experienced player.
Injury Prevention
I'm always looking to ensure you're implementing shots and movements optimally to prevent future injuries. This practice comes from my background in coaching tennis and is part of all my pickleball lessons. I make it a point to ensure students don't fall into bad habits and potentially run into issues like tennis elbow.
