The Pickleball Resources sidebar has been updated to include 2 new, important content pages.
Before you buy a new paddle, you should ensure that your paddle is "legal" according to both the IFP and USAPA. The IFP publishes and updates the above two resources on a regular basis and usually when newer paddles hit the market.
For those looking to play in tournaments regularly, and especially in sanctioned tournaments, you'll need to ensure that your paddle meets the Paddle Material Specifications set out by the IFP. Alternatively, you can simply look to the official IFP and USAPA Paddle List.
If your paddle is not on the IFP and USAPA Paddle List or is listed as a "Fail", you will be unable to compete in a sanctioned tournament with that paddle.
These two new resources will be monitored and regularly updated in conjunction with when the IFP updates their publications.
