We are again in the middle of a series of clinics. It is wonderful to see so many newcomers to our game. It is also gratifying to see many want to continue learning because they had so much fun in the first group of clinics.

The current clinics will be complete soon and the next set is limited to 3 weeks as we must give our teaching courts a 2 week Christmas break. These 3 beginners clinics are almost fully booked now and we are starting to book for our regular 5 week Tuesday and Thursday clinics beginning the week of January 9.

The cost for the clinics in January will be $150.00 for the full program.

We are going into the 3rd week of our 5 week set of beginners clinics on both Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are all having a good time learning this great game.

There is a need for more clinics and I have already started registration for the next set of clinics.

The week of October 24 will see a new pair of clinics. Both Tuesdays and Thursdays we will do weekly clinics from 10:30 to 12:00 noon for 5 weeks.

I am sure we will have an enthusiastic group sign up.

There will be a new set of beginners clinics beginning the week of September 12. There will be one set on Tuesdays and another on Thursdays.

They will start at 10:30 and end at 12:00 noon. Each class will meet one day per week for 5 weeks. The classes will emphasize one basic shot per week.

• Week 1 - Serve and Return of Serve
• Week 2 - Dinking
• Week 3 - 3rd shot Drop and Drive
• Week 4 - Volleys and Overheads
• Week 5 - Lobs and Teamwork

We will be covering the rules of the game, grips, footwork for each of the shots as well.

There will be clinics available for people who have completed the beginners program.

I had intended them for a 5 week period on either Monday or Wednesday at 10:30 beginning September 12 or 14.

The format will resemble the format for the beginners clinics, but will be more polishing as well as more flexible.

If there is enough interest we could have one 5 week clinic starting Wednesday August 10.

The Advanced Beginners Clinic on Wednesdays are fully booked. This is a 5 week clinic starting on June 29. If there is sufficient interest we could do Monday clinics as well. The clinic hours are 10:30 A.M. - 12:00 noon. They are designed to improve basic skills as well as improving game strategies.

There will be a new set of clinics starting Tuesday, June 28. This will be from 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 noon every Tuesday for 5 weeks. If there is enough interest we will also have Thursday sessions beginning June 30.

The clinics are designed to introduce you to the basics of the game. Each week we concentrate on one or two basic shots before ending up with a game.

4. Volleys and Overheads

Our beginners pickleball clinics are starting new rounds this week. We are fully booked for our Tuesday and Thursday clinics.

We are also adding another clinic for Mondays starting on May 16 for 5 weeks. This is not fully booked.

The clinics run from 11:30 to 1:00 each day, once per week, for 5 weeks.

We are starting a new round of Beginners Clinics during the week of May 9. The first scheduled clinics will begin on either May 10 or 12.

The Clinics will be one day per week for 5 weeks. Our clinics will be from 11:30 A.M. - 1:00. The cost for the set of clinics is $125.00.

We have beginners clinics starting the week of March 28. The clinics are for 1 1/2 hours one day per week for 5 weeks.

Each week we concentrate on one or two aspects of the game. We always try to end with a game because the object of the sessions is to have fun. The weekly titles are:

1. Serve and Return of Serve
2. Dinking
3. Third Shot Drop and Drive
4. Volleys and Overheads
5. Lobs and Teamwork

We are limited in the times we have available. Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00-1:30 are almost full. Tuesday from 7:30 A.M. has room for 2.

I can book other times such as 10:00-11:30 during the week if there is enough interest.

We do not have teaching times in the afternoons, evenings or weekends.

The cost of the clinics is $125.00 for the 5 week session. It is payable in advance to hold your position.

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the world is a statement we pickleball era like to quote. According to statistics recently quoted to me this is certainly true in North America.

At the Progress Pickleball Club we are seeing a constant demand for beginners clinics and we do our best to accommodate those wanting to enjoy our great game.

We have designed an introductory series of clinics that in the vast majority of cases allows people to play our game well enough to enjoy the experience upon completion. Our success is show by those who are coming back to upgrade their skill levels.

We currently are running 5 5 week clinics of 1 1/2 hours each week. They are in time slots of 7:30-9:00 A.M., 12:00-1:30 or 11:30-1:00.

These sessions end the week of March 14. Our next set of clinics start the week of March 28. We actually have 3 fully booked 5 week clinics. They start March 29, April 5 an April 6. Thursdays starting at noon have open room. We will offer 7:30 sessions provided at least 4 people request them.
