Several people have approached me lately regarding people banding their paddles together so that they can play games with their favourite game partners. The people who have approached me say they feel people play too many games together for a drop in club.

From the time I took over the club I have maintained that if you and a partner have booked yourself into a tournament together that I would encourage, not only allow you to play with your partner all day if you want.

That said I think one banded group of four, and 0 bands of 3 should be allowed per session. After that please mingle with people in the normal progression of people being in your box. If you are a 4.0 go out with whoever is first in line at 4.0.

There are many who think that once you are past beginner you are 4.0. This is not true. 4.0 qualifications are on website and posted in 3 places near my desk.

If you are a true 4.0 and keep getting put out with non qualified 4.0's please notify Mel, Mohammed, Robert, Rahemin (Ray), or myself and we will get someone to qualify or disqualify people from the 4.0 box.
